Everyday there is some sort of news about criminal acts on the Internet and especially violating our children. Most recently in the news I saw an article where there was a “Facebook child abuse image ring.” I mean what in the world is wrong with these people. Now the criminals are coming into our homes through the Internet. As parents we have to be able combat this problem by educating our children and keeping all lines of communication open.

Blogs came from the term web logs. Before blogs were introduced for every internet user’s consumption, only programmers use it to keep track about their developments on the software they are creating. The keep a record of the things they do and update that record every now and then. One brilliant programmer saw the possibility of using web logs over the internet as a simple, dynamic way to create websites. That’s basically how blogs started and became a hit. The rest, they say, is history.

Blogging stomped the competition when it came to society listening to the news man or the next blog. The business world found new ways to advertise and draw others to their company. Many of them developed there own blogging service to compete with the new competition.

Blogging has reached the lives of many in all age groups, in all classes of people and in most countries. It has changed us as a society in many ways and overall millions use it everyday. It opens up communication and advertising to everyone rich and online blogs poor young and old.

With blogs, size doesn’t always matter. If a blog has thousands and thousands of readers, that doesn’t mean it’ll be a slam dunk for you. Look at the comments section of the blog to see if people are actually providing feedback.

Buying backlinks, unless it is a service that hand submits those comments and as I described, is a big waste of your hard-earned money. Whether you pay someone to use it or you use it yourself, automated blogging software is another waste of time and money. Also, leaving the wrong type of comments on the wrong type of blogs will do you more harm than good.
