When I go on vacation I find that the best restaurant recommendations are those that come from locals who frequently eat out – not from the printed travel guides that try to sell you on one particular place. During my family’s recent visit to the Charleston, South Carolina area the campground we were staying gave us a list of helpful suggestions about our stay. One of those suggestions was to visit a nearby restaurant that looked like a bit of a hole-in-the wall, but had great fried seafood.

Your first priority is food storage. If you have the financial means, buy some freeze dried Food and scuba blog or MRE’s from a company like Nitro-Pak or Food Insurance. Otherwise, head to Costco or Sam’s Club and get what you can afford.

If you meet someone you want to speak more with, ask if they would like to continue the conversation over coffee sometime. If that doesn’t seem appropriate, then follow up by answering some type of question that person had. For instance, if they told you that they were planning a trip to Miami and you recently went there, send an email with some Restaurant recommendations or tour ideas.

Try to allow the food to cook in its own moisture. Add a wee bit of salt so the vegetables give up their water and get cooked in the same. Alternately, sprinkle water frequently rather than adding oil. For some dishes, I sprinkle tamarind water so it enhances the flavor of the dish and reduces oil as well.
